    Upgraded CPU from T5450 to T9300

    Just upgraded the CPU in my M1530 this afternoon from a 1.66gHz T5450 to a 2.5gHz T9300. Runs great, and was well worth the $200 (found on eBay). This will give the M1530 a little more life.

    I did the same upgrade in my Toshiba X205, made a world of difference. During that upgrade also went to 7.2k HDDs and Vista 64bit, laptop was smoking after that. :cool:

    Nice. After putting in the new CPU yesterday I made the move to Win 7 RC x64 (from RC x32). So far so good.
