I have upgraded my lcd panel for my m1530 from a 1200 res to a 1650 x 1050 bought from LCDforless, its an LG Panel. The display is crisp however is seems marginally dimmer than my original panel. Ie the whites are very very slightly grey.

Would changing the invertor on this new pannel make it brighter, could i swap the invertors round from my orignal panel or will it blow my panel. Or is there anyway else to boost the brightness.

    Cheers
