    Im upgrading my HD but need help as to what type of internal laptop drive to get. as you can see from my name i have no skillz and need exact info. went on newegg and could not figure out what type of HD my XPS 1530 takes. help a guy out. thnx

    Your computer uses a 2.5" SATA hard drive. You may also see it sold as a Serial ATA hard drive. Make sure that you get a 2.5" hard drive though. Get larger than that and there will be problems.
