So I plan on keeping my M1530 for a little while and would like to upgrade the 250gb hard drive and the 1.83ghz cpu. Question is, how can I tell what CPU's and hard drives are compatible?
The T5550 is currently in there, whats the fastest CPU I could upgrade to?
I believe the current hard drive is SATA 1.5gb/s, can I put in a 3gb/s? Would it be compatible, just stay at 1.5?
I use to know something about desktops but its been a while and now I'm pretty clueless, haha, thanks!

SATA is compatible with either speed. The T9500 would be the best CPU you could put in it, but it won't be cheap at all.
