    Hi,

Can anyone guide me how to use the Roccat Kave 5.1 headset in my XPS 17? I only have 2 headphone sockets and 1 mic input.

i can't seem to find how one connects your headset , however, if its true 5.1, then it will have 3 plugs: front, rear, and center. and maybe a 4th one for the mic.

go through sound properties in the control panel and you can configure it to stereo, quadrophonic, and 5.1. if you set it to 5.1, the mic port will be converted to the center speaker and the other two plugs are front / rear. then you will lose your microphone capabilities, but you do have the microphone on your screen, so that might be okay.
