    Hello,

I have a M1530, and I noticed there is an HDMI port. Is this only an out port, or is it in/out? It would be very useful to use the laptop's display resolution for HD consoles.

Is there any way to to this? Any type of composite or DVI or HDMI converter to use the laptop as a screen?

    Thank you.

PS. : I wanted "Using an XPS 1530 for consoles" as the title, but I forgot to type the rest. Sorry if it sounds weird.

Sorry it is video and audio out only and not in.

I'm not even aware of any TV cards that allow HDMI or Component input, only composite. But that would be with an external card (Unless added at the time of ordering as internal in your XPS, which you didn't add I assume lol)
