This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Volume bar disappeared...

    I switched out the HDD and reinstalled Windows + all recommended drivers from disc, everything seems to work except for the brightness/volume display. Help please :)

    edit: it's the L502x
    edit 2: also I can't change battery options in power settings (ie, disable charging when connected)
