    Title says it all, Should I wait for the Dell Studio XPS 16 with 5000series GPU or Buy it now, I've got a pretty short time limit of a weekish :S any help is appreciated, thanks. The Laptop will mainly be used for gaming.

    Is the 5000 series going to make a huge difference to the games fps say in CoD4MW2 or Any other high requirement game? what kind of FPS difference will I see on full resolution medium specs?

    i was in the same situation about 3 weeks ago. Bought it. I was thinking that you could get a motherboard replacement down the line with the 5000 series card in it...? Surely the design of the system wont change (i.e. built into the 1645?)

    it will probably have the 5670 which is 400 sp compared to 320sp. Maybe like 10-20% faster. Probably wont feel it. But i guess in bc2 you want all the horsepower u could get. I couldnt wait so i bought.

    Meh, I have zero patience, I bought the XPS but imma gonna check the dell sites rigourously(that how you spell it?!) for the new 5000series, later down the line if the XPS does get upgraded do you think I can trade in/or upgrade the GPU of the current 4000 series?

    Yes there is a way to cancel an order my guess it will be out in the next few weeks on the sites, this is what a rep quoted me as a system exchange and he verified that it's not an error. you can call them and im sure they might be able to work something out
