    i read many threads and driver packages i also saw.
    i was confused wat to do
    i want o backup my data of 15gb
    and install xp on my M1530

    please help..

    IMHO WinXP is not worth it. Maybe makes DX9 games gain 1-2 FPS and certain applications play nice with XP better.

    As for backing up the 15GB, Go get yourself a package of DVDS

    i downloaderd the driver files
    m150 xp drivers part 1 and 2
    is that ok or i download udi“s

    I highly recommend Udi's as I used them and they worked just fine.

    i tried Xp and i love xp, when i got my xps i tried vista and i hate vista before but in my xps i loved it just upgrade it to Vista Ultimate (64Bit)

    just keep in mind that if go to xp you will loose your tech support.
    dell will not give support to a vista shipped computer with xp.
    its the only reason i dont install xp myself.
