I got this new xps studio 1340 and I noticed in the device manager that the display adapter is NVIDIA 9400 MG instead of g210 (n10). I also checked the Nvidia control panel and it said the same thing. I also installed some gpu detector (GPU CAPS viewer) and it said the same thing. so I contact support and she too saw the same thing and ordered an exchange. that was yesterday. Today I noticed that in device manager, under display adapter I see both 9400MG and g210. also the GPU caps viewer shows both (depending if I am in power save mode). Nvidia control panel also lists both under system configuration.
I wonder if tech support did enabled something (which she did not told me about). I see this change after the tech support chat. But then she would not have ordered replacement if this was not true.
Now I am really confused which graphics card I have. Can anybody tell me what I am missing? My replacement in production, should I cancel it?

Your laptop has both. One is an integrated card for more battery life, the discrete card can be utilized as well when you are plugged into A/C power and require more power for gaming.

So I do have g210 onboard when I thought Dell shipped it with out the discrete graphics card. Right? I thought I got the downgraded graphics card.
Thanks
Want to know which graphics card I have?
