I was looking a XPS 1530 that was for sale local and when i looked up the service tag and checked for service history i found that 3 days ago "keep your harddrive" service was added- The systems 256gb SSD was sent out 2 days ago and another 256gb ssd is set to ship today.

I checked the tracking for the first drive and the Fedex details show Signed for at Front desk, and its all the way across the country.

I really looks like someone hijacked the warranty and is making claims for the for very pricey SSD-

I searched Dells site and could not find any contact dept to try to notify them before another drive gets sent out.

I would not want to buy this one and find my warranty has been voided.

I do not want to say anything to the person selling the machine in case they are involved in the fraud..
