Anyone know if this helps to keep the laptops shine? Any pro's or con's of it? I have to wax my Avalanche today, so i was thinking i might as well wax this since i'll have everything out.

I heard that waxing can protect your glossy laptop from fingerprints and slight scratches (read this somewhere in this box). Is it true?

Umm....this idea has fail all over it.
Get a good microfiber towel and don't sweat the prints.

I'm actually not so sure. A good polymer protectant like Rejex might be quite helpful. They use that stuff on aircraft and it works great. Just keep it away from edges, keyboard, and the speaker grid. If you're really into it, you could use RainX on the screen.

Anyone know of a good long lasting wax? I Turtle Waxed mine and it looks amazing, but after a few days it wears off. I also put leather conditioner on the leather part and it also helps with the shine.

Rejex mentioned above should last about a year. At least that's how long it lasts on my aircraft.

Wax on, right hand. Wax off, left hand. Wax on, wax off. Breathe in through nose, out the mouth. Wax on, wax off. Don't forget to breathe, very important.

Now something that repels my sweat from my sweaty hand-palms would not be a bad idea at all! But myeah I will let some other people try out first ;)
