I have a M1530 and i don't see the webcam anywhere in the device manager. Does this mean it's dead or lose connection somewhere? If its dead will the laptop crashes because of a faulty hardware? PLEASE HELP!!

first, check the connection. the webcam has 2 connections:
the first one is right behind lcd bezel on the top of screen where webcam eye is. use your finger and pry a little bit the bezel off the lcd cover (don't be affraid there's nothing securing bezel to cover, no screws, and the bezel itself is very flexible plastic. you won't break it). once you get behind the bezel check connection.
the second is under keyboard - remove battery, unscrew 3 flat screws in battery bay, take off the control panel (where the media sensor buttons are) with your fingers (be aware that control panel has cable connected to mobo under keyboard so don't take it completely apart), remove two screws securing keyboard to chassis, under the keyboard on the right side you'll find a gray cable with white connector on the end - it's webcam cable...
