    What CDs come with a XPS computer?

    im trying to reinstall my windows and i cannot find my Media Direct 3.3 CD.

    All i have in my box is

    Roxio CD
    Webcam CD
    McAfee
    Windows Vista OS
    Drivers and ultility
    MS works

    can i reinstall my system without using MediaDirect? i dont really need it.

    u dont need mediadirect to reinstll... i think mediadirect = useless application that takes up too much space...

    Roxio's also something u can ignore... too much bloat... same with McAfee if u have NOd32 or kaspereky

    Yes you can reinstall it without using MediaDirect. I got rid of that too as I did not use it. I'd rather wait a few more seconds and just boot into Windows where I can do anything I want.

    Yes, you can, and...I had MediaDirect and it's gone, gone gone..Too many problems... :eek:

    And, Roxio... :eek: Never used it...as PW stated too much bloatware! ;) :)

    If you really do want it though I have seen bit torrents of it if you have another computer to work from or Dell will send you the disk.

    I don't know why you didn't get the CD.

    I installed media direct (when I reinstalled vista) simply because I didn't want that button to go to waste. I probably will never use media direct but hey, if the feature's there, why not have it ready to go.

    It really is pointless though. If you're gonna boot up media direct, you might as well boot up windows because you don't save anything at all.

    the button would boot into VIsta if u dont have MD installed

    its a 4GB waste of spage

    so....u should still get it if its part of the package...its ur choice what u wanna do with it, not dell's.
