    simp,e question what can it use, i know about 8700 and 8800 but can it use the 7950? or 7950 SLI?

    so ive seen a m1730 for sale on Ebay with a single 7950, so im guessing that it can use them what would be better for gaming 8700 SLI or single 7950?

    No it can only use 8700m GT SLI or 8800m GTX SLI.

    Is there any documentation on how to mod the system to get the 7950 GTX to fit in there? I have one lying around, but mine shipped with a single 8700 GT I believe. My 1730 shipped with a 230 W brick - would that help narrow it down whether I have 8700 SLI or not? I only got the system yesterday and can't figure out how to tell whether I have the SLI or not; the BIOS says 256 mb, but somewhere when I turned the computer on it said the video had 512 mb...
