    Hi all,
    I have one quick question.

What brand and type of SSD drive does Dell use for the XPS15?
When you order it from them.

And does this SSD have TRIM?
    Thank you!

An OEM one, Samsung or Toshiba are likely bets.

    Don't do it!
You can buy one with similar performance for much cheaper, or one for the same price thats much faster.

Realistically though you are better off with a 64 or 120 gig SSD OS drive and a spinner secondary for storage. Much cheaper that way and basically the same performance with much more storage.

I'm almost sure Samsung's SSD, but don't buy it, buy from Newegg Intel's SSD 510, OR M4

    Thanks for the input guys.

But guys don't worry about the "buy it or not" from Dell.
I'm just interested in the specific model of the SSD.

Can anyone give me a definite answer to the original question?
    - specific model of SSD?
    - has TRIM or not?

    Thank you
