I was just wondering what you guys have bought for your SXPS 16 accessory wise and how you like them. Feel free to post reviews on such accessories and comment about if you recommend them to others.

Shaggymac microfibre cloth - Keeps the screen nice and clean! Great for cleaning the palmrest too.
Zalman NC-1500 - All Zalman cooling pads are awesome!
Dell travel remote - Good for when you just can't be bothered pressing the media keys! :)

I just need a bluetooth mouse now! My logitech VX nano isn't high tech enough for this machine!

I didn't buy anything specifically for the XPS 1645, but I use a LapDesk. It's basically a slab of plastic with a cushion on the bottom which makes using your laptop on your lap not a burning experience. IMHO, you pretty much need a LapDesk or Cooler if you plan on using a modern "performance" laptop on your lap.

Actually I find that even though the SXPS runs somewhat hotter than other laptops, it doesn't feel as hot on the outside.

I have it on my lap right now. I'm in bed, leaning against the headboard with my knees propped up. The 9-cell lifts the laptop off my legs and the palm rest doesn't get hot unless I put stress on the laptop (which I'd need to be at a desk to do anyway).

    It's pretty comfortable.

Sorry for not being clear, I didn't mean that basic tasks like web-browsing are too hot to be done on your lap, but while on the subject, I find the 9-cell digging directly into my legs uncomfortable.

Well it's definitely more comfortable without it, that's for sure. A lot warmer too.

I'm just about ready to buy a six cell. The 9cell makes this laptop look fatter than it actually is...

Most of my time on the laptop is on my couch in front of the TV, so I have the Logitech lap desk. It's quite comfortable on your lap, and prevents your leg from blocking the fan intake vents on the bottom.

Also, I got the Dell Bluetooth travel mouse.

Cyro LX Cooler. 3 fans...amazing LOL. And i bought a cheap keyboard protector from ebay so my keys won't scratch the screen.
