I have an RGB LED and frankly it hands down blows away the MacBook Pro displays. But I don't have any details like refresh rate, 2ms response time or what the specs are.

Anyone know. Photographers initially loved it but in reality its still a 6-bit TN panel with red green and blue lights instead of a white light. which is why the RGB LED displays can't produce true white some say.

Color gamut is 118%, don't know about refresh rate but I think its 8ms.

"The Studio XPS 16 delivers the ultimate multimedia experience with an optional full 1080p Hi-def widescreen display and optional Blu-ray Disc™ player. It also has a fast 8ms response time for a crisp, clear resolution during fast-action video and gaming. The optional RGBLED display provides a 100% color gamut for truer, more vibrant colors."

I agree with 90% of that review its dead on the hues are just never right. And so many other things, The 500:1 contrast ratio is a head scratcher but blacks are a problem.

How can it achieve 100% Color gamut but its still a 6-bit TN panel.

I mean I smell class action lawsuit if that review is deemed accurate.

    its was a $250 Downgrade.

that being said next to my buddies $3,000 new 17 inch MacBook Pro, everyone liked my RGB Display better, Blacks were nicer colors poped more, at Half brightness I am equal to his full Brightness, Sure colors were not "accurate" Google links are a little purple and greens are way over or under done.
