I was wondering if people can tell me from their experience, what kind of use brings about the heating issues and failure in the SXPS 13? Is it only from playing GPU-heavy games? Does it happen from watching movies? Or does it happen regardless of what you do on it? I do not play any games at all, but I do watch DVDs sometimes, and I also keep my computer on 24/7 on my desk. I do not want to use a cooler. Do you think I will have problems? My choices are between the 256MB 9500M and the 512MB G210M. I'll get whichever helps make it cooler.

I think the temps are the same, so I would get the G210M. As for temps, they're fine when not kicking in the 9200 GPU in SLI mode. I use a cooler when I turn on both, and it's OK. But yes, it does get hot. The newer BIOS versions seem to address the really hot temps and enable dimming the display in A11. I've had great luck with mine.
