    Looking to get an XPS 17 with a budget of around £800 including discounts.

    2nd gen i5-2410M processor 2.30 GHz
    17.3" HD+ WLED True-Life (1600x900)
    3GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M
    8gb RAM (from crucial.com)
    640GB (7,200rpm)
    Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230

    Comes up to around £815 including 10% discount +£65 (8gb ram from crucial.com)

    Just was wondering what can i expect to run of this laptop, Light gaming? (lf2, minecraft, sims ect...). Mainly the laptop will be using for browing and work but will also do some games and light video editing.

    I would highly suggest the 1920x1080 display. The video card will run all games on medium to high with ease at 720p resolution (1280x720 or 1366x768).

    The HD screen is too much for my budget... As then I have to also buy the 3d capable graphics card as well. + I prefer glossy screens to matte.
