    As the title says.

    I am about to buy A full Loaded Dell XPS 15 (i7-2820QM + 3yrs......)
With coupons/discounts it will be around £1650.

If I spend £2000+ on a single invoice for Purchase of a capital assets, I am allowed to clawback the 20% Tax.

This means that I need to spend at least an additional £350 with Dell to bring my purchase to £2000 which will then mean I will get about £333 further discount from the tax man.

Question is what else can I buy from Dell?

I was thinking of an Inspiron Duo for £480 => (£1650 + £480) , I will get a refund of £355. This kind of means that the additional purchase is only costing me £125!

Maybe I can buy a 22" Samsung TV from Dell..... but might be difficult convincing Taxman that it is a capital asset ....

Why not wait till the 30th and see what promos Dell put in for the XPS 15, I reckon you'll get your XPS 15 for nearer £1400 so you then can have £600 to spend.

Also I assume you're having to order through Dell business? If you order through Dell Home this voucher code will give you 10% off XPS stuff till 1st April.

Maybe I'm missing something . . . but why are you spending 350lbs to save 333lbs ? (yeah, I don't have the symbol for pound)

Makes a lot of sense to me. I would do the same. I would say the TV is for video-conferencing. :D
