I use the sleeve that it came in, and I put that in an Init backpack. The backpack itself is really good, with lots of room to put books and whatnot. Gets a little heavy, but it's manageable.

The sleeve it comes with is rather nice. It's primarily for casual protection and storage rather than acting as a carry case... but even in the sleeve, the m1330 is small enough to put in any backpack or sholder bag with all your books etc.

I recently went through half a dozen new briefcases. The one I liked best is the Tom Bihn Empire Builder with the bulky but very protective Brain Cell insert.

Bag choice is intensely personal, though, so YMMV.

im covering my m1330 with bestskinsever to prevent scratches (and the famed fading aluminum wrist pad areas), and using the included notebook sleeve, putting it in my normal book bag....

Where did you cover with that bestskinsever thing. And how much did it cost? Does it cover the palm rest? And if it does, does it cause your system to heat up a little more and how much because it seems like the aluminum palm rest is pretty good at getting rid of heat.

im planning to cover the entire top side (Dell logo side and on the silver sides), wristpads, some of the bottom

not entirely sure about the heat thing, because i need to wait for the thing to dry first before turning it on (water+electricity != good)

at least now its not such a fingerprint magnet... if it doesnt turn out, i'll just peel it off...

(issues with the wristpad fading in color probably resolved, bit reflective :p) [sorry, my logitech fusion webcam doesnt have a macro lens...]

(the specs are bubbles and water trapped, they'll be gone soon)

the bestskinsever comese in a large uncut sheet for $18...... zagg.com / invisibleshield has a pre-cut version made for m1330 for $35+, lifetime warranty (u pay shipping for a replacement set if something happens to ur first set) but it doesnt have a fingerprint hole, so i thought its cheaper+effective for me to cut myself, though its a little badly cut... dont really care, protection is protection

Just to let everyone know, my invisible shield came with a precut fingerprint hole. I think they are a great idea, especially for the white computers that scratch so easily.

Just picked up one of these. Should be delivered shortly. I've always been a fan of Lowepro's bags and it seems to fit the bill nicely.

I just use the sleeve that it came with. I love that little case.

Although mine looks a little dirty now. I wonder if I can buy a new one from Dell?

Anyone know if they sell them seperately?

I'm using a funky rubberized macbook case from Huzzk

Nice snug fit and very easy to grip. I dont have the LED screen, so it took a bit of a stretch to get it closed, but once left overnight, the case opens and closes no problem now. Keeps my little baby cosy and protected when in any of my manbags.

There's actually not too much give in the backpack for extra books, etc. Maybe a thin book and folder could squeeze in. Keep the 10 pound calculus book out of it though.
