What different between 3 of them (all 64 bits).

Is home premium is already enough for basic using? and what about professional and ultimate, what can they do extra?

I don't think there is any difference in performance, each version has just different features, I am using Ultimate and a while ago I had the home premium, I didn't notice any changes, beside as I said in features.

Anyway if this can help you:

    Compare Windows - Microsoft Windows

    Here's a comparision chart.

The main things bewteen home premium and pro from my business perspective is that home premium cannot join an AD domain and does not include remote desktop. You can RD to a home premium box, but cannot connect to other machines.

As it's been stated, the biggest thing for Professional is connecting to a domain. Also with Professional or higher you get more than 16GB RAM support (Home Premium is capped to 16) and you get Windows XP Mode (if you have the proper hardware, you can run XP as a virtual machine). Ultimate you get Bit Locker, language packs and media center features.

Professional also gives you access to the local/group policy editor, but that is something that about 95% of people will never need.
