I was just going through a M15x thread where people shared pics of their backpacks/briefcases!/strapbags etc. and I must admit they looked great

I couldnt find a similar thread for XPS. How do you carry your XPS (pics wud b grt)? Has someone made a custom bag for his/her 1530, because I was planning to do that, and would love to have some ideas/experience..

I carry my M1530 in a SwissGear Ibex backpack. I do IT support and need to carry lots of gadgets and accessories, and the SwissGear backpacks have loads of pockets of various sizes. I've had backpacks before, but the SwissGear BP's are the best I've used so far.

I carry my M1330 in a Waterfield Designs Sleevecase with a flap, strap, and piggyback from http://www.sfbags.com

About the least bulky case I have found that provides decent protection plus it is VERY well made. It kinda looks like a man purse but I still love it.

I use a Pelican 1080CC for my XPS M1330. It then goes in my backpack with everything else I need.

Right now I just carry it around in whatever. I don't care how bad I beat it up since I have a replacement coming.

When I eventually get my real one, I am going to invest in a nice notebook backpack.

I use that Targus backpack. It was originally $45.00, but Staples offered $20.00 off and a $15.00 mail in rebate so I got it for $10.00 which is a pretty good deal, and about what it's worth. I wish it offered more padding for the laptop, and more space for extra stuff, but it fits a couple books, the computer, and my XPS binder just fine. Of course I use the sleeve as well, for extra protection.

For casual use, I use a Jansport Essence. I use the sleeve that came with the M1330, and then put it all in the backpack's laptop compartment. Nice and snug.

For slightly smarter occasions, I stick it in a HiDesign Newport. Fairly expensive, but the quality is fantastic.
