I know, I don't want the nine cell actually because it's so bulky. Don't want the GT540m because I can't think of anything that requires 2GB of ram besides gaming, which I really don't plan on doing on this machine. Might do video editing so figured might as well get the best processor possible. 4GB ram is enough for most tasks last time I checked. Hard drive can always be upgraded to SSD as SSDs keep dropping in price.

I highly recommend the upgraded nine cell. As for the specs, they look good but as Rossi77 said, you should wait for the upcoming signature event. As for SSD's, they may drop but you have to make sure the mainboard will support the SSD's as I have heard of compatibility issues with these new generation drives, just like SATA drives when they were introduced.

Use this coupon to save extra $70.

I'm not sure about the signature event, but it's already at a huge discount right now. Though this discount won't expire until next year so I guess you have time to wait.

Nice config, but I feel the 2820 is a bit overkill considering you will bottleneck at the graphics card.

Right, but what would you be doing that the 2620 or the 2720 couldn't do?

Just trying to save you some green :D

Lol, that is true..Most I'd do is video encoding perhaps, so the 2820qm might be faster in that sense.
