well I just started using 180.48 and I am seeing a big improvement in the FPS,
for COD:WaW I am having a 25-40 fps depending on the map.
The only bad thing about it (and all the 180 series) is the glitching that happens in the games.
BTW do u have glitching when using a 180 series driver or am I the only one ?

Glitching ? Yea ... youre not alone. All the 180 series drivers i have used produced an nvlddmkm.sys error. Sometimes it just recovered fine, sometimes BSOD and sometimes auto restart.

And no ... its not my gpu failing ... Before hand i have used 178.24 for 2 months with no problems ...

Would love to see a stable driver .... oh well ....
