I was looking at Dell's website and noticed that they no longer offer WSXGA (aka WXGA+) for the XPS M1530. I remember seeing something in the forums regarding that in the past, but what happened? Why did they discontinue it?

If I were to buy an M1530 today, I probably wouldn't consider getting one because of this. the 1440x900 is too low of a res and 1920x1080 makes text way too small to read unless you are directly in front of the screen.

Are they just temporarily out of stock? Are they still solving the grainy screen issues? Or are they upgrading to LED WSXGA?

I would suspect it is because they were having a lot of troubles with them. There is probably a LED version in the pipeline anyhow.
