First off, why is the SSD missing on the studio xps 16? Where can I order the Samsung 256gb SSD separetely? Also, what happend to the RGB screen?!?!?!?! The only choice now is a Edge-to-Edge FHD Widescreen 15.6 inch WLED LCD. Seriously, why did they get rid of the RGBLED, and does anyone even know what the 15.6 is like? Please help! I want to order my laptop in a few days!!

I was surprised about the lack of SSD's on the SXPS 13/16 but as said, the RGBLED is there. The main oddity is why did they change the other screen sizes to 15.6" o_O?

The SSD was actually an option when I ordered my laptop on the 26th.

Maybe because of supply issues in SSDs? I've heard that there was a price increase on them recently.

They still offer the 256GB SSD on the Business website for the SXPS 1640. They also offer it on the Alienware m17x.

I think they're doing this to further move the Alienware up and make it the performance beast. Hence the reason it's only got the 256GB SSD and only the SXPS 1640 on the Business site offers it, which makes sense as Business users usually require more power.
