I just traveled for the first time with my new XPS 1645 laptop. I have a Johnston & Murphy brown leather bag that I use for my work laptop, but I decided to use it for the new laptop for this trip. It's supposed to be able to handle up to a 16 inch screen. It was really really tight. So tight that when I had to pull out the laptop at airport security, I was really concerned that I was going to damage it from pulling so hard. Plus, you know how the stress is at airport security. If you take 3 seconds longer than standard business traveller etiquette, you begin to receive a lot of negative energy from the people around you...

So, I decided to order a sleeve while I am here with family on the west coast for a couple of weeks.

Question is, what sleeve fits this beast? Should I get a 17 inch sleeve to be safe?

The Dell site doesn't really guarantee that any of their stuff will fit, so I am shipping amazon...

Thinking of the 17 inch case logic case.

Have any of you put your 1645 into a sleeve or thin messenger bag?

    Thanks!
