    What temperature CPU?

    With some effort, maximum temperature of the CPU? Which is considered normal?

    I believe the consensus is that mid 80's are acceptable, and up into the 90's does happen often.
    Things to do to lower tempratures:
    Turn off intel turbo boost when using the video card (either through bios or by changing power plans)
    Removing air intake dust covers
    replacing thermal paste (most intensive but produces best results)

    For me, using no turbo boost, and no dust filters I get cpu in the low 80's and gpu up t0 85 max (furmark). prime95 with full turbo on cpu gives me 90

    When gaming, I find my 2410m gets easily into the mid-90's, when idle it is more like 50-70. I do use turbo-boost, and also overclock my graphics card. I have yet to have any issues like my PC shutting down.
