Was considering an m11x looked at some 10.1's and the keyboard is so cramped... cant imagine the 11.6 being much better....but i like the 13.3'' size so much i wanna stick with a 13'' i had the m1330 which i loved but because of recent hard drive problems im going to upgrade. Fix the HD in the m1330 n give it to my mom...

If i go m1340 what should i look for as far as best processors and cards...

i believe it's starting to become a "discontinued" model. Dell will probably put out another 13" notebook though. I say give it a month or 2 and see what comes up.

I'd say definitely go with the G210M if you want better graphics performance as it should perform quite a bit worse than the G210M (though notebookcheck lacks benchmarks for it). Though it provides a performance improvement in areas, it is usually only somewhat noticeable and in other areas performance as a whole can be hurt (though this is true with SLI in general). If you're in the U.S. you'll have to wait until they refresh it with a Core i* model unless you get one from Dell Outlet though I wouldn't suggest getting a Core 2 Duo model of any laptop anyways unless you get an amazing discount on it.

Looks like M1340 has expresscard 2.0 as shown here, so could attach a desktop HD5770 to greatly improve graphics performance to an external LCD. A good deal? Yes.

    dont know what this means...

Im guessing you can externally attach a HD5770 1gb card to enhance graphics performance... would this work with my 32'' toshiba LCD nicely??

Because its either this deal or the m11x... only thing i dont like is the leather accent *vomit*

Since i like my m1330 so much i think it would be kinda stupid to make the switch... and if i dont like the m11x im screwed..
