    Hey NBR

Do you know what's the best driver for the GT540m currently? So far its a really nice laptop but the drivers are a bit dated and I don't really like using Dell's driver download page seeing that the ones they put on there are usually outdated (previous SXPS 16 owner) so any recommendations?

    Thanks :)

Just go to the nvidia web site and get the latest driver from there.

It's better to have the latest driver for your gpu, fan problems are caused due monitoring gadgets i believe.

I'm confused...maybe its a different design than the L501x, but i didn't think the laptop had "GPU" fans. Last I saw, it was just one fan with heat pipes connecting the CPU and GPU

It has one fan that works for both the gpu and cpu.
