no, it varies by individual GPU, the entire batch isnt faulty. mine for examples runs perfectly fine. just monitor your temperatures during different loads of work. ie idle temperature, watching a movie, playing video games. i use hwmonitor and everest to monitor my gpu and core temperatures. i suggest you do the same if you are concerned.

Pretty much anything with the word NVIDIA is possibly defective. However the amount of defective-ness may vary
For example, take my 6 month old 8600m GT SLI notebook that is now on its 4th pair or 8600s. Then, look at my sister's MacBook Pro 15.4" that is a year old with an 8600m GT and it is still going strong.

Monitor temps and recommend the copper mod.

now I have to go back and forth to stupid Dell service ! How a hell ! if so, I'll throw it into my little basket or at least into service operator big mouth

The chips should last a long time though I would say at least 2 years normally. Why? Because nvidia wasn't able to detect the problem at first and it went through their testing. It takes awhile for it to set in although their are extreme cases for people who use their PCs a lot and noticed high failure rates then. I don't know why people are underplaying the issue since it hasn't happened to them yet when it SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING until later.
Most likely it'll break within your warranty or towards the end of it if it does break and you will be able to have it replaced. The only real problem is that while it's being replaced you are without a laptop for a bit but it isn't that big of a deal for the design you get and the XPS brand and dell's great support. -
What's the part No. of affected xps M1330 ?
