    just noticed i'm still on version 8 0r 9 bios.l shoiuld i upgraded and D/L a new one

    smudger, when you start a thread asking about those sort of things you should include your computer model ( putting it in your signature is also a great idea)

    this is so that we can provide accurate information, since we are on the xps forum, im going to assume you have either the 1330 or the 1530:

    m1330 is now in bios A15 i believe, and it brings great fixes and improvements.

    m1530 is now on bios A12, witch is also a great BIOS.

    i do recommend you go to the dell site and download the latest bios for your model.
