    Are the new 6000 series chips that are in the new XPS studio laptops better than then 5300?

    The 62x0 is better in most ways, and the 6300 is better in all ways.

    i have ordered the 6300 for£30. i use a WAG320N is it possible to get 450mpbs out of that?

    Router im using is a WAG320N best router i have owned but i have had 3 5300 chips from dell and finally this one works but i know its got its niggles.
    So thats good to know looking at the new e series routers linksys/cisco are doing

    Whats the differnece between the newer 1000 series and the 5000/6000 series? Is the new 1000 series capable of 3tx and 3rx (450Mbs) connections?

    One difference is that Intel 1030 does not work on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS even the driver/firmeware file is there.

    My 1810T uses a Intel 5100, the new XPS15 R2 a Intel 6230 and even there I see no difference...signal is good even on the Acer, even though it is a 1x2 card.
