    When is Dell jumping on the 9800M series video cards???

    put a proper, up-to-date gaming video card in if you're going to charge $1500+ on a XPS laptop for christ sakes.....

    They are giving up gaming...

    There are many articles out (sorry I cat them atm) but Dell decided to push XPS away from gaming and making Alienware the gaming only branch.

    Dell is shifting the gaming market towards Alienware, so don't expect anymore ultra performance GPUs coming out it the XPS line.

    what's the minimum you have to pay to get a 9800M series video card from alienware?

    It's part of the reason I gave up Dell for Clevo. Altought I still think Dell is great company.

    I think they could push a 9700M or a 9800M GS in the high-end of the Studio line.

    But remember that they still have better cards in the Small Business sector where you can get the 2700M = 9700M or even the 3700M (best notebook video card up to date).
