When I originally ordered my XPX M1330 I decided to make a change to the config so it had to be canceled and reordered so the CSR said he would see what he could do to expedite the shipping. The order said it would ship Ground and take 3-5 business days.
It happened to ship yesterday stating by DHL Express with a delivery date of 1/30. I contacted Dell to find out why the shipping was not expedited and was told that even if the shipping method was changed the order would not reflect it as the original shipping method was ground and the tracking # would not reflect it either but DHL would be aware of it. Since I have to sign for the shipment it would be nice to know when I’m actually going to expect it. Does this make any sense?

My 1530 shipped on 12/29 (a Saturday) and I had 1 day express shipping. On dells site it said delivery would be by 01/03, remember 01/01 was a holiday. Anyway, DHL delivered it on Monday 12/31.

Also, I think when your order says that it shipped "DHL Express" that is their one day shipping. Hopefully you'll get it tomorrow!

It doesn't make sense as this is no different for anyone. When it arrives it arrives. There is no obligation for any company to guarantee a time and date for delivery and, in fact, as soon as it is in the couriers hands its not even the responsibility of the company any more.

If, for some reason, it is delayed or doesn't arrive for 3 weeks, its still a purchase agreement you are responsible for. There have been a few dissappearances where the receiver was then informed they would start the manufacture process all over and they had to wait.

Be glad your getting it so soon.

I ordered mine and it came 1 week later and 3 days earlier than expected.
