    Dell Outlet

    Dell Factory Outlet

Also whatever you do, Do not buy one that has the 1366x768 (720p) display. Make sure it has the 1920x1080 B+RGLED display.
The 720p screen in the XPS 15 is one of the worst quality screens available in a 15-inch laptop right now, worse than most budget-class laptop displays. And the resolution is too low for a 15.6" laptop because it makes things onscreen rather large.
However, the 1920x1080 B+RGLED display is one of the best laptop screens currently available. And the higher resolution lets you fit a lot more onscreen such as side-by-side windows, and it greatly reduces the scrolling you have to do.

You don't have to pay attention to any other specifications, but this is very important. I know it limits your selection a bit, but it won't be worth throwing money down on if you have to settle for the junk screen.

Ya the Dell Outlet offers good deals, you may want to sign up for the occasional coupons.

If you can, I would opt for the 1080p B+RGLED screen. The 720p screen is terrible, and even that is giving it too much credit.

I don't know what kind of deals they have right now, but that is definitely cheaper than buying it new. I got mine for about 780, but I bought it with 4 gigs RAM, a 500 gig HD, and the cheaper 525 graphics card. I did get a blu ray player, 9 cell battery, and backlit keyboard. I'd say your system would be just a bit more expensive (they charge a lot for the extra HD space and RAM. Your graphics card and my Blu Ray cancel each other out) so it seems fine.

Beside signing up for e-mails from the Outlet for coupons. Also, check Dell's Twitter & Facebook site for the Outlet. : )

    They also release coupon codes.
