I paid an extra $100 to Dell to upgrade to a 256GB drive, and if I could choose again I would have saved that money and bought my own larger drive. Amazon has the Transcend 512GB MTS800 for ~$220 and the Crucial M550 for $300.

I've got 256GB as well cause this is minimal for my needs.
For comfort I need 521GB at least so simply waiting for Samsung SM951 which hopefully arrive in next couple months. That is one of a beast drive.
Frankly my XPS13 upgrade was from my old vaio z11 with 1TB SSD... what a downgrade in 4 years... where are we going?
