    well i wanna do this mod for my vostro 1310 which has a similar design wondering where i can buy copper sheets i have checked home hardware and home depot both have none.

    if you have tools and are handy, you can get a copper tube coupling and make it into a flat sheet. It's about $0.70 at home depot. Otherwise you can find a source from the copper mod link.

    but u need to get it really perfectly flat (just a hint to the OP)..... i'd rather pay more to get a really (almost)-perfect piece of copper

    Making it a perfectly flat is very easy since the piece needed is very small.
