On Dell's website I found two different 9 Cell Batteries for my XPS M1530. One is manufacturer part number GP975 and the other is manufacturer part number RN897. They are both the same price, both 9 cell batteries, and both compatible with the XPS M1530. Which one should I choose? Is one better than the other?
If I don't hear anythign I will call Dell and ask them what the difference between the two are.
Thanks!
Jeremy

But it's a JP973. I haven't seen or used the other one (RN897).
If it were my choice, I would go with the JP975. It appears to be a better match/use for me, as I'm so used to the style.
It provides the nice "elevation" on the 1530.
Is the other newer? Anyone? Cuz that looks an awfully like a 6 Cell.

According to Dell the two batteries are the same but they have different numbers for stock purposes.
