    It seems virtually none of my local computer stores stock 2x16GB DDR 2400 SODIMM... is it a fairly rare kind of ram, or am I just searching wrong?

    On amazon I did find a couple of options, namely:

    Is that exactly what I'd want?

    There is also a "for mac" version... is there any actual difference here?
