    Hi Guys just finished on the phone with Dell, they have advised me as the 1640 is an old laptop they do not sell batterys for this model anymore but do for a 1645 and 1647 im looking for a replacement 6 cell.

    Basically will a 1645 dell original battery work fine with a 1640?

    Are the batterys different in anyway?

    Will a 130w work stable with a 1640 as well?
