    Which glue to re-attach M1330 finger-rest?

    Now that it has come fully adrift I discovered that the aluminium finger/wrist rest around the touchpad and fingerprint reader on the M1330 was attached to the frame by glue rather than clips.

    Can anyone suggest the best adhesive to re-attach it?

    I've no idea about this at all.

    You should look at the Dell XPS M1330's service manual, found on dell.com. It'll tell you in a detailed manner on how to disassemble/assemble the palm rest.

    EDIT: The document may also contain the name of the adhesive if required for seating the palmrest.

    You could just use superglue or gorilla glue and it would work fine.
