    Which lcd display should be selected?

    xps 1530 has three options

    i) 15.4" Widescreen WXGA
    ii) 15.4" Widescreen WXGA+
    iii) 15.4" UltraSharp(TM) Widescreen WSXGA+

    It depends on your preference and needs. If you use photoshop or Excel, having more screen real estate could come in handy and save you from scrolling constantly. In this case, you should choose the WSXGA+
    If your eyes are sensitive and can stressed easily from starring at screen monitors, having a lower resolution (WXGA) could help, since everything will appear larger (bigger icons, larger text, etc).

    I would go with max res - iii. If possible you should find a dell Cart Store (usually in Mall's) and take a look at one. I was looking the other day and they had a 1530 w/ WSXGA+ on demo. It's a bit small on a 15 but you can do 120 dpi and be good to go.
