    depends on the lighting of the room you are in. Antiglare are usually lower quality but you won't see your reflection in the screen if ur outdoors or the room is really bright.

    I would go for the matte screen. If sunlight even hits your screen you won't be able to see anything.

    Neither of the screens on the XPS 17 (non-3D) are too great.

    I don't think the contrast and viewing angles on the XPS 17's 1600x900 screen are the best in the world (presumably better than the XPS 15's 1366x768 though)

    While the 1920x1080 screen is good in itself, with better color gamut, contrast, and viewing angles, the matte coating isn't one of the better matte coatings out there, and people have complained about it.

    The XPS 15's B+RGLED 1920x1080 screen is amazing though, and the XPS 17 3D's 1920x1080 screen is good (and bright) from everything I'm hearing but you get less battery life on the 3D model.

    And yes, I will buy this week, I am comparing between XPS 17 and Asus G53SW... that's why :p

    Why not go for the G73-SW...they offer a matte screen now.
