I am looking for a driver on laptop video 2 go for my XPS M1530 running 32 bit windows XP with a 8600M GT. On the front page it says the most up to date driver is v156.83. However the link to download that is broken. I have heard people on these forums talk about higher version numbers of the video 2 go drivers. Needless to say I am lost. What version should I be using? More importantly where can I download it from (with a working link).

    Thanks.

Go to their forums instead of their download page.

Ok, I get I am supposed to go the forums and not the downloads page now. My bad.

I am still confused though. There are so many versions. Which should I use?

So 173.8 works even though the 8600m GT is not listed there?

I tried the 169.28, but I had problems with it. I then tried the 169.09 and it has worked flawlessly.

I have not tried any of the 170 series.

I downloaded the 8600 drivers for the inspiron 1520 which is forceware 174.31
and my 3dmark 06 went from 3907 3d marks to 4181 3d marks up 274 3d marks with the inspiron driver? I'll use it a while and see how my games perform and if any issues come up.

Yeah, I got the same 174.31s from the dell support site for the inspiron 1520, and got a similar improvement in score.
