Why Did Dell Remove Drivers From My Downloads List?

I bought the L502X back in August, 2011. Took a look just now at my drivers and downloads list that Dell support offers online. Comparing what is on my laptop now, I noticed that Dell no longer offers a "Mouse and Keyboards" drivers for the Synaptics Touch Pad and the Quanta webcam.
Anyone know why? Just curious. Thank you.

I get the same when I look at my service tag but you can click to view drivers for the whole range and they should be in there

Dell's system of entering the Service Tag, while ideal in concept, doesn't really work.

What users expect is: you enter your Service Tag, and the site shows you available updates specific to your configuration.

What really happens: in spite of entering the Service Tag, the site shows me all kinds of drivers and updates for hardware that I do not have, and conversely hides some items that I do need. To find hidden items that I do need, I must look at all available downloads rather than just those for my Service Tag.

So, sadly, the Service Tag system on downloads site does not work as expected,
