    Why are people more interested in XPS 15 than 17?

    Heck, Im getting XPS 17 just because it has the numeric numpad but thats just me.

    OP is just pissed that he bought the L701x and the 21-day return period has expired for him.

    The reason why I would get an XPS 15 over an XPS 17 now is due to the following:

    -17.3in with lower res
    -16:9 meaning no 1200p and one of the only ways to make a 17in worthy of my money
    -more money for basically the same hardware

    There is no sense getting a 17in if I can get the same hardware in a 15.6in and there is no resolution jump. Now had they made it a 16:10 screen I wouldn't even look at the XPS 15. But thats definitely not going to ever happen.

    But you can't. The 17 has 2 hard drive bays versus 1 in the 15, 4 DIMM slots versus 2, and a numeric keypad versus no numeric keypad.

    The 702x is supposed to have the 1920x1080 screen available, at least at some point when stock is on hand.
