At the moment you can only get it through the small business part of the dell USA website. As to why they are not availbale on product red I would only be guessing.... Maybe they need to sell out there current prebuilt product red laptops first??

Give them a call, make sure you get a Dell USA rep, if that's where you are located, and ASK them for the LED.

They should be able to offer it to you.

I ordered my (Product)RED through the Dell Ireland site and there were some things that I got included on my system that were not, at that time, available on the site for the system I was ordering.

These were: T9300 processor and 200GB 7200 rpm hard drive.

BUT, I asked for them to be included on the system and the rep said ok.

Also, having spoken to a rep or two on the Dell site's online sales chat I discovered that there are routinely some things that are only available 'offline' and are not included on the site.

One thing which my rep threw in for free was the Kensington travel charger, this was also an unlisted thing on the Dell Ireland site.

So, in true Wayne's World style.....ask and it will come... :p

PS: My experience is based on an m1330.....so maybe the LED screen hasn't become available for the 1530 as of yet? Anyway, best to contact them by phone to ask. The worst that can happen is that they say you can't get it, which is where you are right now anyway.

Oh I am located in Australia. But even on the US website for US customers, they cannot order the LED screen with the (PRODUCT) RED M1530. So I was just asking for the reason for this?

Does anyone else know? I can't believe this hasn't been discussed thoroughly before. Does no one like the Red Color?
